In a remote mansion in the mountains, surrounded by green, green forest. The mansion stood on the shores of a crystal blue lake. The sky was clear and the suns rays beat down on the old mansion. The windows shone like crystals. This day was special, today was the reading of the final will of the late Mr. Woodworth. It was stated in the will that today, would be the day the will was read, 1 year after his death. Soon the beneficiaries would be arriving soon.
Rin: Ahhhhhhh! we are going to be so late!!!" cried Rin as she ran up the dirt path to the mansion.
Rin was a girl of around 19 with long red hair. Not auburn but blood red hair. She had gray eyes to go with that.
Mu: "Well this is your fault! You are the one who overslept!"
shouted Rin's older brother Mu. Each beneficiary was alowed to bring one guest. Rin had brought her 3 year older brother Mu. The two of them ran up the dirt path as fast as they could. It wasn't unusual for the two of them to be late for some event.
Mu: "Hey Rin! Watch out!!!!"
Rin: "what...? AHHH!"
Mu: Are you okay?
Rin: "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?"
???: "I'm fine. Are you okay??
Rin: "I'm good! Hey, I'm Rin and this is my brother Mu. Whatfs your name??"
Rin: "Mizuki?? The novelist?"
Mizuki: "
Mu: "I'm glad you all are happy and know each other, but now we are even later!"
Rin: "well let's all go to the mansion and talk later".
In the mansion the four of them sat in the lounge. The lounge was decorated with about 5 porcelin dolls. Rin spent her time re-adjusting her button up shirt and trying to keep it tucked in. Mu was reading a magazine about crime and Mizuki was a sleep.
Rin: nn? Oh, I remember that photo. I was when I was 12. My grand parents were friends with the Woodworths. That was Mr. Woodworths 53 birthday. His wife died shortly after that day.
Mizuki: Yogiri's the one with those markings on her face, and the girl with the short blonde hair is Catharine. There coming today, in fact here comes some one now.
Mia: Yo! Rin, Mu\!You guys here already?
All: NO! You're late!
Mia: What do you know? So I am.
Rin: Mia? Why are you here?
Mia: I came with Yogiri
Yogiri: She begged
Yogiri: Besides it might not be bad having her around, if any thing goes wrong will have a detecrive right here.
Catherine: Well, I see every one is her now, you'er all very tardy.
Mu: ? Since when have you..?
Catherine: I've been her since 1! I was sitting on the veranda.
Catherine: I don't see why your here any ways. My father was really the only one who helped Mr. Woodworth in any way! Rin and Yogiri you just know him since your grandparents were friends and Mizuki, you may be related, but no ones ever heard from you until now! Some family you are!
Mizuki: ....
Yogiri: nice person.
"Ding, ding." The clock stuck two. This was the signaled time for the will reading to start. A door opened at that lead to a meeting room. In walked Torrance the butler. A old frail man of over 70. The maid, Shiruba, fallowed him. She looked as if she was in her late teens with long silver hair and blue eyes. She was caring tea for the guests.
Torrance: The attorney will be here in a few minutes, but before that I would like to give you a tour of the Woodworth mansion. This mansion was built in 1940's and is almost the original structure. The west wing burned down in...
Mu: yawn... why are there dolls all around?
Torrance: You see, Mr. Woodworth use to collect dolls. He took great pride in make and collecting fine porcelain dolls. Rin, Catherine, Yogiri, Mizuki. If you walk this way, you can see the display room.
So the company walked through the door and down the hall to the door marked, display. In side were display cases of over 50 porcelain dolls. There were 4 dolls on the mantelpiece that really stood out. The dolls looked like the 4 beneficiaries of the will. The first doll was Yogiri, complete with her odd face markings. The doll was wearing a deep blue kimono with her hair tied in a bun. The second doll was that of Mizuki. She had on a black sweater with a long beige dress on her hair was loose. The third doll was Catherine she was dressed in a fine silk night gown, with her long hair in a braid. The final doll was Rin. It was one of the most stunning dolls ever. She was wearing black dress with white lace trimmings around the collar, hem, and cuffs. The front had white ribbons laced up and tied in a bow. Finally the doll was wearing a black had with a white ribbon tied around it.
Rin: My, the dolls are so beautiful. I wish I could have a dress this beautiful with lace trimmings.
Shiruba: Be careful what you wish for.
Rin: Hm? Oh, sorry, I know, but I couldn't help thinking.
Shiruba: Well, would you like some tea when we get to the dinning room?
all: yes.
Back in the dinning room, the entire company sat at the table. The attorney had arrived and had sat down. The table was quite large, there was room for 4 more people at the end. The dining room was decorated very tastefully with soft pale green wallpaper and white lace curtains. The windows looked out over the shore of the lake, but know the curtains were drawn.
Mr. wellington: Now that your all here, I can begin to read the final will of Mr. Woodworth.
Mizuki was 24 and quite an acclaimed mystery novelist. She had the long black hair and dark brown eyes. She came off as quite distant and cold, but she was much warmer once one got to know her.
Mia was also in the same class as Rin. She has long blue hair and glasses. She liked to think of herself as a "detective". Untill her friends reminded her that finding missing lunch box and reading myster novels dosn't count.
Yogiri was an interesting person, dark navy hair with navy eyes. She also had strange face markings that looked like tear streams running down her face. She was one of the 4 beneficiaries of the will. She was one year older than Rin and Mia.
snaped catherine. She was 27 and had long bloned hair with blue eyes. Her father had been the co-boss of Mr. Woodworth company.
